 华雨桐 Alice Yutong Hua 
华雨桐在过去的阅读与写作经历中,深受中外虚构文学和古诗词中观察、体验、表达以及审美趣味的影响。大三(Junior Year)时从化学专业转修纯艺术。此后创作作品主要以抽象形式,运用多种材料探索自然与人造,随机与具象,生长与衰退的关系。
From Alice Yutong Hua’s experience of reading and writing, she is deeply influenced by observation, experience, expression, and aesthetic preferences from fictional literature and ancient Chinese poetry. She transferred from a science to a fine art major in her junior year of college. Then she began her exploration of nature and artificiality, randomness and embodiment, organization, and entropy.

 秦婕 Qin Jie 
 

秦婕(生于1998年)是一名实验方向的体验设计师/跨媒介艺术家/写作者/产品设计师,目前在英国皇家艺术学院攻读信息体验设计硕士。她专注于用实验性的方法论将有效信息素进行体验设计和创作。因此,她的作品形式十分多元,包括交互装置、实验移动影像、理论性小说、视觉传达等。

Qin Jie(b.1998) She is an experimental experience designer, cross-media artist,writer, and product designer. She is currently studying for her Master of Information Experience Design at the Royal College of Art in the UK. She focuses on the experience design and creation of effective information with experimental methodologies. Therefore, her works’ formats are very diverse, including interactive installations, experimental moving images, theoretical fictions, and visual communication, etc.

我的苦行是必然的

A Female Austerity 

“Fight for the removal of female stigmatization”

Subvert the heavy silt

I’m crawling

I am watching my struggle

I shouldn’t be a worm

A worm with soft breasts in a patriarchal society

Wrapped in these dirty shackles

Squeeze my fat hard

My austerity is inevitable

月光:昨夜我遇见一个池塘

我写了一首诗,这也是我的梦,一个幻境。

我遇见了一个池子。

它在地上,但又像飘荡在空中。

它是轻盈的,以至于没有固定的空间外形,也没有时间上的持久性。

实际场域和虚幻感受互相缠绕,让我在虚幻的景象中不断寻觅,直到寻找到我本体的存在方式。

Moonlight:I met a pool last night

I wrote a poem, which is also my dream, an illusion.

I met at a pool. It is on the ground, while it seems to be floating in the air.

It is so light that it does not have a fixed spatial shape, nor is it durable in time.

The actual field and illusory feelings are intertwined with each other, allowing me to constantly search in the illusory scene until I find the way of my being.

 


 吴施慧 Kitty Ng 

吴施慧(生于1999年,香港特别行政区)是一位跨学科艺术家,主要从事绘画创作。她目前在罗德岛设计学院(RISD)攻读绘画专业,现生活和工作在中国香港和美国普罗维登斯。她的作品主要专注于人之间的互动,亲密关系中的自己和他人,和自身的文化身份。

Kitty Ng (b.1999, Hong Kong S.A.R) is a multidisciplinary artist who works primarily with Painting. She is currently studying Painting at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and is currently based in Hong Kong and Providence, USA. Her work mainly focuses on human interaction, relationships with self and loved ones, and cultural identity.

Love Languages 1: Haircutting

《爱的语言》系列是对通过头发这个主题表达对“爱”的探索。虽然两个人之间仍然存在物理距离,但手势表达了他们之间的亲密程度。

The series Love Languages is an exploration into love expressed through the motif of hair. While there remains a physical distance between the two people, the gesture of the hands signifies the level of intimacy between them.

 


 

 张岱青 Zhang Daiqing 

张岱青的创作实践主要围绕自我认知展开,作品通常探讨关于身体、身份与表达的话题。张岱青的作品涉及行为、影像、雕塑和装置。她将创作视为一种坦白的方式,不断试探自己坦诚的边界。

Due to personal experience and growth environment, Zhang Daiqing’s works are usually about self-recognition, identity, and self-expression.  Her work spans performance, video, sculpture, and installation. To Zhang, her artworks are various forms of self-confession, and art is a non-verbal way for her to communicate with others. She tries to push her boundary in every work, detecting her limitations of frankness.

一直以来,人们对于女性身体与毛发存在着不切实际的定义与幻想。艺术家希望以纪实、微观的方式,向人们展示女性毛发真实、自然的样貌。

Due to the patriarchal propaganda, society normally holds unrealistic expectations of the female body and body hair. The artist documented her own body hair in a micro manner, presenting the beholders with the most natural and original status of the female body.
